Pressure Cooker Cranberry Orange Sauce

Homemade Cranberry Sauce is fast and easy when you use your (Instant Pot) Pressure Cooker. You only need 4 ingredients and 8 minutes for your holiday condiment

Ingredients

  • 1 bag cranberries washed
  • Zest and juice of one orange
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Pinch of Salt
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon optional

Instructions

Pressure Cooker Function:

  • Add cranberries, orange juice and zest in your pressure cooker pot.
  • Set the pressure cooking time to 1 minute Allow for a "natural" pressure release (about 7 minutes)

Saute function:

  • Remove lid, turn on saute' function.
  • Add sugar, a pinch of salt and cinnamon (if using).
  • Smash the berries with a wooden spoon or potato masher.
  • Taste and adjust the sweetness to your liking.

Notes

Nutrition is based on one quart into tablespoon servings..
This thickened up immediately and it was perfect. NOTE: I do have a non-stick pot insert that made clean up easier.
